Millersburg is famous for its quaint antique and collectible shops and its homey handcrafted items. This is particularly true during Historic Downtown Millersburg’s ever-growing Antiques in the Alley, held each year on the day before Mother’s Day.

On that day, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., all of Downtown — from the alleys to the sidewalks to the Courthouse lawn, and, of course, the local shops — will be literally loaded with antiques, refurbished and recreated household items, and other interesting arts and crafts, all supplemented with plenty of food, lively entertainment, and kids’ activities.

This year, Antiques in the Alley will feature more vendors than ever from all over Ohio as well as from other states. Among the items featured will be furniture, glass items, garden accents, folk art, repurposed items, and salvage art.

Antiques in the Alley is not only an opportunity to discover intriguing items for your home, but also a chance to mingle with creative artisans and absorb some inspiring ideas for home projects of your own. Learn how others have turned trash into treasure.

Since the event began in 2007, Antiques in the Alley has drawn thousands of guests each year from around Ohio and surrounding states.

Along with a chance to casually peruse a wide selection of eclectic items in the shops and streets, Antiques in the Alley is also a perfect chance to experience all that Millersburg and Holmes County have to offer. Once the event closes at 5:00 p.m., guests can kick back and enjoy dinner and entertainment throughout the evening at Millersburg’s eclectic pubs and eateries.

Many guests extend the event into a weekend getaway to enjoy the Amish culture, the awe-inspiring landscapes, and interesting historical places.
